The Strength of Words by Rosemarie E. Bishop

Finally the words make sense.
I feel them in my soul.
I smell them in the air I breathe.
I watch as they unfold.

Finally, the words make sense.
They run so very deep.
I see the light that shines from them.
It makes me want to weep.

Finally, the words make sense.
Oh, the mountains they have moved.
I marveled at the price of them;
the words, so finely tuned.

Finally, the words make sense,
like nothing has before.
They made the world a promised land.
They opened wide the door.

Great Environmentalist Quotes

If there's one thing that I, Steve Irwin, would wanna be remembered for, [I want to] be remembered for passion and enthusiasm. Conservation is my job, my life, my whole persona.
Steve Irwin Quote

There are many who still do not believe that global warming is a problem at all. And it's no wonder: because they are the targets of a massive and well-organized campaign of disinformation lavishly funded by polluters who are determined to prevent any action to reduce the greenhouse gas emissions that cause global warming out of a fear that their profits might be affected if they had to stop dumping so much pollution into the atmosphere.
Al Gore Quote

Climate change is such a huge issue that it requires strong, concerted, consistent and enduring action by governments.
Peter Garrett Quote

In securing the future of the planet, we secure happiness for ourselves. One of the aims of the Greens is to turn around the tide of pessimism amongst the young people of the world.
Bob Brown Quote

You completely rediscovered & relived everything to do with wildlife.

Famous Emotional Quotes

I want my boys to have an understanding of people's emotions, their insecurities, people's distress, and their hopes and dreams.
Princess Diana Quote

It is essential to begin with emotion.
Tom Peters Quote

I understand that it's hard for everyone, but one cannot give in to emotions... we'll have to draw lessons from the current crisis and now we'll have to work on overcoming it.
Boris Yeltsin Quote

I don't think a woman should be in any government job whatever. I mean, I really don't. The reason why I do is mainly because they are erratic. And emotional.
Richard Nixon Quote

Feeling sorry for yourself, and your present condition, is not only a waste of energy but the worst habit you could possibly have.
Dale Carnegie Quote

I think you have to work with people, and when I talk about managing relationships, don’t think the derogatory ‘‘managed relationships’’. It is a question of sharing emotion and feelings. The common denominator of everything can’t be money, and it should not be money.
Anil Ambani

Loss Poem

You Never Were...
by Sabra Dees

How is it that I miss you?
I long to hold and kiss you
My mind is always searching after
your chubby face and your laughter.
I wish to sing your favorite songs
I wished for you for so long
but you never were.

How is it that I dream of you?
I know the things you'd love to do
cartoon mornings, baking sweets
blowing kisses on your tiny feet.
Incredibly real to me you seem
I know these are empty dreams
Because you never were.

How is it that I grieve?
You never were concieved.
it isnt like I lost my son you didnt pass away
yet I mourn your loss more and more each day.
there is a nursery in my heart but it will never be
For years I tried, the countless times I cried - infertility.
And you never were.

How is it that you seem so real?
A burning memory
sometimes I think of you and feel
I've lost my sanity.
But I know you realy were
You were the hopes and dreams and faith of one
who really wanted to be a mom.
I mourn the loss of that hope and you see
You never were a child but you were a part of me.

Famous Kerry Packer Quotes

I don't want to be left behind. In fact, I want to be here before the action starts.
Kerry Packer Quote

My life is sport. I was academically stupid and my method for surviving through school and those sort of things was sport.
Kerry Packer Quotes

Watch out that greed doesn’t eat you up - a person’s life does not consist in the abundance of his or her possessions.
Kerry Packer Quotes

If a working class Englishman saw a bloke drive past in a Rolls-Royce, he'd say to himself "Come the social revolution and we'll take that away from you, mate". Whereas if his American counterpart saw a bloke drive past in a Cadillac he'd say "One day I'm going to own one of those". To my way of thinking the first attitude is wrong. The latter is right.

Famous Racism Quotes

I look to a day when people will not be judged by the color of their skin, but by the content of their character.
Martin Luther King, Jr.

I believe in human beings, and that all human beings should be respected as such, regardless of their color.
Malcolm X

No one is born hating another person because of the color of his skin, or his background, or his religion. People must learn to hate, and if they can learn to hate, they can be taught to love, for love comes more naturally to the human heart than its opposite.
Nelson Mandela

In the land of my birth I cannot vote, whereas a young person of eighteen can vote. And why? Because he or she possesses that wonderful biological attribute - a white skin.
Desmond Tutu

Encouragement Poem by Sri Chinmoy

Do you want to be always happy?
Then give up fighting
For negativity
And learn the beautiful art
Of self-encouragement.

True encouragement
Adorns my heart.
True encouragement expedites
My heavenward journey.
Encouragement
Is a very special
Light that is born
Of Self - Offering

Encouragement
Is of constant need
Both in the inner
World of progress
And in the outer
World of success.
